Fumihiko Gomi’s style is a bit different from that of other artists, for example, he paints trees as if they were still lifes, or he tears up photographs of women and reconstructs them in detail. I have always wanted to ask him why he created these works, but I always feel like I am left in the dark. So this time, we would like to explore Fumihiko Gomi’s way of looking at things by asking him to comment on each of his works.
